Forwarding Your Office Phone

If you would like to forward your office phone to another phone, please use the following instructions to do so:

  1. Access the Cisco Self Care Portal at https://phone.umd.edu/ucmuser
  2. Log in with your UMD directory ID and password
  3. Under “My Phones”, there will be a section titled “Additional Phones”. 
  4. Under “Additional Phones”, click “Add an Additional Phone”
  5. Enter your personal phone number that you’d like your office phone to be forwarded to.
  6. Click “Enable Single Number Reach” and Save.

Note: 

If you run into the error message “There are no phone numbers available for this user”, email itsupport@umd.edu with an explanation of the issue and your name, directory ID, and phone number.
